19th century critic Compton-Rickett defined vagabonds as men “with a vagrant strain in the blood, a natural inquisitiveness about the world beyond their doors.” While I do not consider myself an expert on beer or travel, I love to travel and I love to try new beers. Whether it’s searching out an elusive Belgian brew or drinking a warm pilsner in an African buvette, sitting back and having a new beer in a new place is my favorite way to explore the world.
